When you select a coming-home set or a personalized blanket, our seamstresses begin with raw four-layer cotton muslin and combed cotton jersey. Name embroidery, embroidery motifs, and thread colors are included free with your order. You select the spelling, the motif, and the thread shade that aligns with your nursery palette, whether you favor understated neutrals or deep, rich contrasts.

Because each item is measured, hand-cut, and guided under the sewing machine individually, no two finished pieces are identical. This makes each set a distinct family heirloom, whether chosen from your own baby registry or gifted by loved ones at a baby shower.

Timing Your Order for a Calm Arrival

Planning ahead is an essential part of ordering made-to-order baby items. Because our atelier does not store pre-sewn inventory, our production process requires 25 to 30 days of preparation before dispatch.

During these 25 to 30 days, your chosen fabric is measured, individual panels are cut, embroidery is stitched with accurate tension, and seams are assembled and checked. Once completed, shipping is free worldwide and includes a tracking number so you can follow your package from our sewing tables to your doorstep.

To ensure your hospital bag is packed well ahead of your due date, we recommend placing your order during your second trimester—between weeks 20 and 26. This timeline accounts for our 25 to 30 days of production and typical transit times, leaving ample room to wash and pack everything by week 35.

Please note that because each piece features custom name embroidery, personalized items cannot be returned. However, should any genuine production or shipping fault occur, we remake and replace the affected item completely free of charge.

Caring for Muslin and Combed Cotton at Home

Natural fibers require uncomplicated care to maintain their structure. We recommend washing all newborn textiles at home before packing them into your hospital bag.

Follow this straightforward routine to keep your baby's items fresh and soft:

• Machine wash at 30 °C using a gentle or delicate cycle.
• Use a mild, baby-formulated liquid detergent without optical brighteners.
• Avoid chlorine bleach and harsh stain removers, which weaken pure cotton fibers.
• Dry flat on a drying rack or tumble dry on a low heat setting.
• Muslin naturally contracts into a textured, crinkled surface after washing. Ironing is not necessary, as this crinkle is what keeps the fabric airy and light.
